Copyright & License Agreement
All embroidery designs, design collections, fonts, and digital files available through Katelyn's Kreative Stitches are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Certain designs, fonts, or artwork may also be protected by their respective owners. By purchasing, downloading, or using any digital product from Katelyn's Kreative Stitches, you agree to the following Terms of Use.
Refunds & Exchanges
Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges once a file has been downloaded or delivered.
Please note that altering a design file, including but not limited to resizing, editing, converting, combining, or reformatting, may affect stitch quality and design performance. Katelyn's Kreative Stitches is not responsible for issues resulting from modifications made to the original file.
License & Permitted Use
You may:
- Stitch our designs onto physical items for personal use or resale.
- Sell finished physical products created using our embroidery designs.
- Combine or merge our designs with other designs solely for the purpose of creating finished embroidered products.
You may not:
- Sell, share, distribute, trade, gift, lease, sublicense, or transfer our digital files in any format.
- Include our designs in any digital collection, package, membership, subscription, or file-sharing service.
- Copy, trace, redraw, modify, or extract elements from our designs for the purpose of creating or selling new digital embroidery files.
- Hire or request another digitizer to reproduce, duplicate, or create substantially similar versions of our designs.
- Claim our designs, artwork, or digitized files as your own work.
Our designs are licensed exclusively for machine embroidery purposes and do not grant any rights to reproduce copyrighted artwork, logos, trademarks, photographs, or customer-supplied images beyond the creation of embroidered products.
Quality & Support
We take pride in producing high-quality embroidery designs. If you experience issues with stitch quality or design performance, please contact us before leaving feedback or requesting assistance elsewhere. We welcome the opportunity to review the design and make improvements when necessary.
Commercial Production Limits
Our standard license permits the sale of finished embroidered products in small-business quantities.
Written permission from Katelyn's Kreative Stitches is required for mass production of 300 or more items using the same design.
Copyright Protection
All designs, collections, fonts, artwork, and digitized files remain the intellectual property of Katelyn's Kreative Stitches and/or their respective copyright holders. No ownership rights are transferred through the purchase or download of any design.
Trademarks, Copyrights & Licensed Artwork
Katelyn's Kreative Stitches respects the intellectual property rights of others. Customers are solely responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to reproduce, embroider, sell, or distribute any trademarked, copyrighted, or licensed artwork.
The purchase of a digitizing service or embroidery design does not grant ownership of, or rights to reproduce, any copyrighted or trademarked material. Customers must obtain all necessary permissions, licenses, or authorizations from the applicable copyright or trademark owner before using such artwork.
Katelyn's Kreative Stitches reserves the right to refuse any order that may infringe upon the intellectual property rights of a third party, including but not limited to trademarks, logos, brand names, sports team logos, corporate logos, licensed characters, celebrity likenesses, copyrighted artwork, or other protected content.
By submitting artwork for digitizing, the customer represents and warrants that they own the artwork or have obtained all necessary permissions to authorize its use. The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Katelyn's Kreative Stitches from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from the unauthorized use of copyrighted, trademarked, or otherwise protected material.
Customer-Supplied Artwork
All artwork submitted for digitizing remains the property of the customer or its respective owner. By submitting artwork, the customer confirms that they have the legal authority to use and reproduce the submitted material.
Katelyn's Kreative Stitches assumes no responsibility for verifying ownership, licensing, or permission to use customer-supplied artwork. The customer accepts full responsibility for any intellectual property claims resulting from the use of submitted artwork.
Changes to Terms
Katelyn's Kreative Stitches reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time without prior notice. The version in effect at the time of purchase shall govern that transaction. Customers are encouraged to review the current Terms of Use available on our website.
